Deborah E. Schadler, PhD, CPCRT, PRSE has been a professional educator for more than 47 years and has taught at GMercyU for 25 years. She is currently a professor and GMercyU's Interim Associate Dean for Student Success & Retention Initiatives. She also oversees undergraduate Education programs at GMercyU.
During her tenure at GMercyU, Dr. Schadler has been involved in many activities of governance and service, in addition to program and course development.
Dr. Schadler’s other activities at the University include: Director, Autism Institute; Undergraduate Special Education Coordinator and membership on several academic committees, task forces, as well as student organization facilitator for Best Buddies and the Special Education Club.
She has developed and taught the undergraduate special education curriculum. Prior to coming to GMercyU, Dr. Schadler served in the clinical and educational sectors.
